Guess what I bought while Jim was elk hunting?

 Thats right, a puppy!  This is Lilly's dog that has been #1 on her Christmas list for at least 5 years, but this year I (not we) decided to get her her wish early, hopefully to make house training easier before it is snowy outside.  Lilly was very very surprised and cried in the car on our way to pick up the dog.  Lilly named her Mist although Rowan still calls her Shelby which was one of the trial names.  She is a Golden Retriever/ Border Collie mix and is 8 weeks old in these pictures.

 I have appologized ahead of time to the neighbors saying we plan on her being better behaved than Suki, however they all remember Suki as the best dog ever.  Maybe that is because they didn't have to chase him daily.  Jim is accepting the change but not accepting any resposibility this is all my fault.
