Evan just had to have a pine wood derby car since his brother was making one. This is Evans yellow car while he is wearing his yellow soccer jersey. Yellow is his favorite color. Little Evan story. On Sunday we heard Evan start to scream and cry and Caylor and Evan came upstairs. Caylor brought a pencil and said he took it away from Evan who was drawing on the walls. We thanked Caylor and then asked Evan sternly "were you coloring on YOUR walls" his reply made it impossible to get upset. "no, I did color on my walls I colored on the bathroom wall."

A good year at the derby races for Caylor. Jim and Caylor did do some research on how to make a faster car and although there is never a determined winner at the derby it was one of the two fastest cars there which made father and son happy.

Can you guess what famous person this is? In third grade you must do a famous person report, Caylor did Alexander Grahm Bell. The amazing part of this photo is that every other time in Caylors life that he has been asked to wear a shirt with buttons it is complete melt down, but on the day of the report he chose of his own free will to wear it and the vest and the tie all day long. But not the beard, too itchy.
